Accessibility continues to be a challenge for those planning to add EV charging stations to parking areas. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has advanced ideas to account for mobility and communication access for disabled people who want to drive and charge EVs. However, due to the limited number of EV chargers and small number of disabled EV drivers, ADA currently recommends some reasonable approaches to making EV chargers accessible while allowing non-ADA vehicles to park and charge in these accessible spaces. Green Ways 2Go has organized a synopsis of these ideas for you to download.
