April 7, 2016 Green Ways 2Go is reaching out to the communities we live in. Lately, Tim Milburn, partner in Green Ways 2Go and residing in Park Ridge, Illinois was invited to participate with his City’s Community Health Commission and has now been assigned to represent the office of the Mayor of Park Ridge in the Metropolitan Mayor’s Caucus meetings. The Caucus is a voluntary collaboration of the Mayor of the City of Chicago and the Mayors and Presidents of the suburban municipalities in the greater Chicago metropolitan region, acting through their councils of governments. Its purpose is to provide a forum through which chief elected local officials cooperatively develop consensus and act on public policy issues affecting the Chicago region. Through this purpose statement, the organization will work on improvements for the municipalities in the area, with a wide range of projects that will improve the quality of life for the residents in the region. Tim, who is a mechanical engineering graduate from Illinois Institute of Technology, through his decades long experience working with large infrastructure projects around the world, will bring expertise to the discussions that the Caucus will be hosting at least three times annually. Tim is very proud to have been delegated by the City of Park Ridge to this important caucus for community decision makers. In Tim’s daily business he is working with alternative fuels for transportation for the purpose of reducing particulate pollution and the impact of Carbon Dioxide and Methane emissions. The alternative fuels worked with are Electrical Vehicle Charging, Propane Autogas dispensing systems and compressed natural gas systems.
