Join C.L.E.A.N., –chargepoint+ and GreenWays2Go to learn about and discuss electric vehicle (EV) charging and other renewable initiatives in Fargo-Moorhead and the cities surrounding our area.
The event will take place in the Fargo Public Library Community Room

The program will be covering
- Commercial, workplace and home EV charging
- Volkswagen settlement funding for North Dakota
- Solar and wind power projects in the area
- FM-area cities’ ambitions for clean transportation
- See the world’s most popular EVs – the Nissan Leaf, Tesla and the new Chevy Bolt, which travels 238 miles on a single charge.

Speakers: Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney, Fargo City Administrator Bruce Grubb, Fargo Parking Commissioner Mike Williams, C.L.E.A.N. – Ed Gruchalla and Paul Jensen on behalf of C.L.E.A.N. and DOE’s ND Clean Cities program.
Xcel Energy, Cass County Electric Cooperative, and Geronimo Power Plant Developer displaying their activities with clean renewable energy.
Local environmental organizations will be in attendance: FM Sustainability Riverkeepers, eFargo, Fargo and Moorhead Landfill Operations.

|1:00 PM||Opening address by Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney at the parking area in front of the community room, weather permitting.|
|1:15 PM||Welcome by C.L.E.A.N. Chairman, Ed Gruchalla, Ret. ND Highway Patrolman, and former ND State Legislator. Ed will talk about the purpose of C.L.E.A.N. and today’s event covering clean energy initiatives in the FM Area|
|1:30 PM||Address by Fargo City Administrator Bruce Grubb. We will hear about clean energy and land fill gas initiatives that are helping Fargo residents.|
|1:35 PM||Parking Commissioner Mike Williams will speak on Fargo’s efforts in making downtown more EV friendly, and about the bike share successes, parking downtown, and followed by clean energy as part of a product mix for the electric energy consumed by the City of Fargo.|
|1:40 PM||Presentation by Brian Levin, Director for ChargePoint, Midwest Region, speaking about commercial vehicle charging and his company’s product range for workplace charging and home charging, under the theme “What’s happening in the world of EV Charging”.|
